The series begins with the $540 + $60 Deepstack Kick-Off NLH event, which will have five starting flights and have a prize pool guarantee of $2 million. For heads-up fans, the schedule includes a special one-on-one affair featuring a $3,000 + $125 buy-in.
Players can put their poker play to good use with the Charity Series of Poker Tournament while high rollers can compete in a larger $5,000 + $100 event. Also on the schedule is the World Poker Tour Borgata Winter Poker Open Championship. This event has a $3,500 buy-in and will feature $3 million in guaranteed prize money.
Last year, the World Poker Tour Borgata Winter Poker Open Championship was a big hit, with 1,415 players competing, pushing the prize pool to well over $4.5 million. The eventual winner of the event was Vinicius Lima, who took home $728,430 for a first-place finish.
